Dr. Timothy Coughlin

Dr. Coughlin has 20 years of wide-ranging experience as a mining industry consultant and has held senior positions with major mining companies. Dr. Coughlin is a specialist in frontier mineral exploration and on mining investment in emerging and transitional environments. He has provided advice on and conducted country entry programs in the Caucasus, the Balkans, Colombia and Russia and has been integral in new and now operating grass-roots gold discoveries in South America and Australasia.
Roderick Corrie
Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Corrie is a strategic advisor with experience in a variety of companies. He has held both executive and non-executive roles in corporate finance, health, property, technology, advertising, investment and manufacturing companies. Mr. Corrie has held senior positions within the banking industry, he is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and a Member of the Securities Institute. He is a non-executive director or the AIM listed Europa Oil & Gas PLC.
Gary Patrick
Development Manager
Mr Patrick is a metallurgist with 22 years’ experience in a range of areas in the mining industry. He has a BSc. from Murdoch University in Perth, Australia, double majoring in Extractive Metallurgy/Chemistry. Gary has experience in all facets of project development including; preparation of scoping, prefeasibility & bankable feasibility studies, carrying out due diligence and overseeing detailed engineering design. He has worked closely with local design institutes in China, Kazakhstan and Russia during adaptation of Western engineering designs to conform to local standards and norms. In this Mr Patrick helped in the preparation/co-ordination of metallurgical test work programs, process design reviews, operator training, plant commissioning/trouble-shooting, metallurgical audits and man management.
Tim Richards
Mine Manager
Mr Richards has 12 years mining experience across Australia, Africa and Europe. He has broad experience in open pit mining ranging from scoping and feasibility studies, detailed mine design, through to operations and mine management at a senior level. He has a B.Eng (Hons) from the University of Queensland, Australia majoring in mining. Tim commences his employment with Lydian in April 2012.
Nerses Karamanukyan
General Manager, Caucasus
Mr. Karamanukyan is a graduate from the Yerevan Institute of National Economy, holding an Economist Diploma and a certificate of Law. Previous notable career positions have been as Chairman of the Management Board of Ardshininvestbank - one of the three largest private banks in Armenia, Head of the International Finance Corporation's (IFC's) offices in Armenia - a position he held for 8 years, Diplomatic Counsellor to the Armenian Embassy in the United Kingdom and Chief of Staff for two Armenian Prime Ministers.
Dr. Hayk Aloyan

Dr. Aloyan has 12 years of mining exploration industry experience. He was formerly Deputy Chief of the Geological Survey in the Armenian Mining and Metallurgical Institute. Dr. Aloyan is widely published on Armenian metallogenesis, he is also a specialist in resource estimation.
Nara Ghazaryan
Social Program Manager
MSc Public Administration; MA Diploma in Honour, English and French; Formally Social Sector Program Advisor - Management Specialist in Governance with the United States Agency for International Development in Armenia. 15 years experience in humanitarian and development assistance programmes - designing, monitoring and evaluation on + US$150M programs.
Dr. Armen Stepanyan
Environmental and Social Manager
BE Chemical Engineering, ME Environmental Engineering, PhD (geology), MBA (major/finance)Dr. Stepanyan has 10 years' experience in environmental studies and 6 years as a researcher at the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia. He was head of the central analytic laboratory of the Center for Ecological and Noosphere Studies of Armenia, participating in environmental projects funded by CRDF and NATO. He has worked as a water quality expert for UNDP-SIDA funded project, and also as Senior Specialist-State Inspector on Radioactive Waste Management at the Armenian Nuclear Regulatory Authority. Dr. Stepanyan has 9 published scientific articles and 3 patents.
Armen Martirosyan
Group Finance Controller
Mr. Martirosyan has 14 years' experience in the finance and economics sectors, of which 4 years have been specific to the mining industry. He previously worked for 7 years with Grant Thornton becoming an auditor and was the Finance Manager of Deno Gold Mining Company for 2 years. Mr. Martirosyan is member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
